PonyCycle® Product Enquiries

Is it safe?

Childrens' safety has always been our first priority when designing the PonyCycle® toy. For this reason, we have chosen only high quality, non-toxic materials for each component. PonyCycle® meets ASTM-963 and EN-71 Safety Standards. Used as intended, it is both safe and reliable.

Is it fun?

Absolutely! PonyCycle rides like a REAL pony. Your kiddo will love it!

How do you ride the pony?

Help your child on to the saddle, and have them put their feet on the stirrups. They'll need to push down to get the pony moving forward. When you step on the floor, the pony will stop. That's it!

How can I determine the right PonyCycle® toy size for my child?

Small (size 3) is fit for ages 3 to 5, and Large (size 4) is fit for ages 4 to 8. Click here to find out more about how to choose the right pony for your little one.

How do I assemble the pony?

Please view our assembly instructions on our Blog here for information and a video for further assistance.

Can the pony ride on slopes? What kind of surfaces can it be used on?

For childrens' safety, the PonyCycle® cannot be played on slopes. Please ride on flat and smooth ground.

Can PonyCycle® be ridden on wooden floors? What about carpet?

The wheels of the PonyCycle® are smooth and is able to be used on hardwood floors. Please note NOT to apply brakes on wooden floors, as it may leave marks due to rolling friction. In particular, don't push the pony when applying the brake. PonyCycle® can work on thin carpet without any issues, with a little more push required to move forward on thick carpet.

Does PonyCycle® go backwards?

For kids' safety, our R&D specially designed the one-way wheel to prevent the pony from being able to move backward.

PonyCycle® Product Care

What do I do if the brake is too loose or too tight?

Please follow our detailed instructions here to loosen or tighten the brakes of your PonyCycle®.

My PonyCycle® is unable to turn, what can I do?

Please open the zipper on the neck and ensure the bolts that connect the two pieces (head and body) are securely fastened, and then close the zipper.

My PonyCycle® isn't going straight, what can I do?

When installing the pony's head, please make sure the wheels are facing straight ahead. If the wheels are facing to the left or right during installation, it will cause the pony to move in the wrong direction when riding.

My PonyCycle® is unable to move forward after being played with, what is the cause?

1. Please check if the hoof is caught in the wheel. If the hoof is caught in the wheel, take it out.

2. Check if the stop ring is in the correct position.
3. Check if foreign objects such as hair, pet hair, etc. is in the wheel and between the fork. If foreign objects are caught, please clean the foreign objects.

4. Do not ride on slippery ground.

5. If none of the above suggestions can solve your problem, please contact us via email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How can I clean my PonyCycle®?

PonyCycle® is suitable for spot cleaning only. If your pony gets dirty, please use an upholstery, carpet or multipurpose cleaning spray together with a clean cloth.

1. Spray the cleaner against the stain approx. 10 times.

2. After spraying, wait 5 minutes to allow the cleaner to adequately absorb into the stain.

3. Wipe the stain with a clean cloth, until the stain is wiped up. Once the towel is dirty, replace it with a clean towel if continuing cleaning.
