How to Adjust a PonyCycle® Brake

If you find your PonyCycle® brake becomes too loose or too tight, please following the below instructions.

1. Unscrew nut 'A' (below) counterclockwise to release more space.
2. Screw nut 'B' (below) clockwise until the brake pad is about 1-2mm away from the wheel.
3. Squeeze the brake handle to check the brake has been properly adjusted.

Conversely, when the brake is too tight, adjust the nuts in the opposite direction to the above steps.

Note: The spanner included in our packaging can be used to assemble the adjusting nut and locking nut.
